Denver-based artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a tendency to go all-in on whatever I commit to.
Outside of drawing, you’ll usually find me in the mountains hiking, snowboarding, or dancing the night away at Red Rocks. My dog Copper is my constant: equal parts studio companion and daily reset. I quote *The Office* more than I should, but *It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia* still holds the top spot for best show ever.
Traveling the world with my husband has played a big role in shaping my connection with tattooing. From Sak Yant in Thailand to artists across Hong Kong and Māori tattooing traditions in New Zealand, collecting tattoos has been part of how I experience different cultures and deepen my respect for the craft.
In September 2025, I stepped away from corporate life to pursue tattooing full-time. What followed was months of building my portfolio, seeking out critiques, refining my drawing skills, and putting in the work to earn an apprenticeship with the right mentor.
Today, you can find me at Adorned Tattoo Collective in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, apprenticing under Erik Dennis. I’m continuing to develop my craft through constant drawing, lettering, hands-on shop experience, and learning everything I can from a tattooer with more than two decades in the industry.
Marked By Kay is the brand behind the tattooer I’m becoming — built through repetition, critique, long hours, and a refusal to cut corners. It’s where my background as an artist meets the discipline of tattooing, and where I’m developing a style, voice, and body of work that feels unmistakably my own.
